2008 the year for miracles

Our church started off the year like most with prayer and fasting. Our prayers were like many of the prayers being lifted up in churches around the US - for the election, for our communities, for our families and for revival.

We are a small congregation (6 families strong) so when someone is in need, we all know it. For being a small church we had some big needs - jobs, financial help, health, family issues, etc. Our pastor encouraged us to begin praying and believing for miracles. He felt like this year was going to be a year where we would see miracles happen.

So far, I can say God is a miracle worker! Since the beginning of January, we have had:

  • A job offer come in after 7 months of no luck
  • A business given - yes - just given to a family
  • Relationships restored between family members
  • Protection from an accident that could have been fatal
God answers prayers! He is faithful!

Do you still believe He can do anything? I do.
I am believing for many more miracles to happen this year. What about you?

2007 was the worst year of our lives...the enemy was on the attack constantly but God is our protector! PTL! So many people that we have talked to had the same year in 2007 but are believing for great things in 2008. Our church motto this year is "The Price is Great in 2008". We are believing for great things in '08 in our church, community, nation and our individual personal lives. For our family...we are believing for rental property to sell (would love to see my husband these days), job security for my husband and for my 22 year old son to turn from a life of rebellion and a destructive lifestyle. God is more than able. I look forward to reading about what God is doing in your life, selling your house and your church. My prayers are with you all the way from Arkansas!:)
